June 21, 2018, Min Gu presented travelled to Finland for the 2018 European Regional InSEA ( International Society for Education Through Art Congress) to present “Beyond Binaries: When Artists with Disabilities Experiment with Ink, Brush, Water, and Xuan Paper”

On September 8, 2016, artworks made in a visiting artist workshop led by Min Gu on Chinese painting and calligraphy techniques shown in an exhibition called Designing the White. Exploring the diversity of mark making, Creative Growth artists have generated multiple iterations on Xuan (rice) paper, playing with black/white, dry/wet, and concentrated/diluted binaries. Creative Growth Art Center is a non-profit that serves artists with developmental, mental and physical disabilities.
