Introduction to Visual Arts at University Park for student from different majors across the University Park campus, in which she got high Student Rating of Teaching Effectiveness Scores: 6.66/7.

In 2011, Gu Voluntarily provided art classes for children at  Beijing Chaoyang FEOSO Bo'ai Children Welfare Hospital

From 2007 to 2010, Gu voluntarily worked as an art teacher for CAI (ertong caiyi xingdong), a non-governmental organization to improve the lives of underprivileged children through the power of arts and sports. Specifically, she organized voluntary teachers from different countries and taught visual arts for students in Xingzhi School, a school for students who could not attend public schools in Beijing because their parents were migrant workers.
